I have not had a chance to check this 700 on a flight yet – I needed to use a sound machine and real-life sounds for this evaluation — but I am hopping on a plane shortly and will update this review accordingly. For the time being, I am willing to say I expect the 700 will improve on what’s already a formidable noise-canceling technology for air travel, but for regular use around the office or commuting to a bus or a train, I think I would prefer the QC 35 II.
